A Simple Dates Tart....

Cooking and baking has been my passion ever since i was a child...still remember how i used to dream about opening my own bakery when i was just in my primary years...Just wanna share with u guys a simple recipe, easy peesie one...dates tart....actually, i wanted to try to make pineapple tarts since i love eating them so much..but i couldn't find (in my case actually, i didnt know) where to find the pineapple jam use to stuff the tart...that's y i substitute the pineapple jam with dates...and it turned out to be just as nice as the pineapple jam..:)
And here's how to do it:

Ingredients: 
1. 263g wheat flour
2. 15g corn flour
3. 30g castor sugar
4. 190g butter
5. 1 egg's yellow
6. a bit of vanilla essence
7. dates (chopped)

Steps:

1. Mix well the butter and castor sugar til a bit fluffy.
2. Put in the egg's yellow with the vanilla essence and mix well using a mixer.
3. Put in the wheat flour, corn flour and mix them til they become a doh.
4. Shape the doh as u like..stuffed the chopped dates into the shaped doh..
5. Brush the surface of the biscuit with egg's yellow and last but not least, bake them in the oven, 180 degrees C for about 20 minutes...Wala!!

TIPS: U should mix well the doh until it become a SOFT doh that don't stick on ur hands...
